- SIx bunks
- No mileage limits
- Insured + AAA
Music City Touring Vans rents enclosed cargo trailers out of our lot at 915 6th Ave South in Nashville. An enclosed trailer is exactly what it sounds like: a hard-sided box on wheels with walls and a roof instead of an open flatbed, so your load rides out of the weather and out of sight.
You tow it behind one of our vans, and we match the right van to the trailer when you book.
NO MILEAGE FEES! No hidden fees.
Fully insured, same as everything else we rent.
Van Inclusion
What Fits in a Cargo Trailer Rental
The van goes out fully fitted and cleaned, so the only thing you are adding is your own gear.
Apartment and House Moves
Studio to a two bedroom, across town or across the state line. Boxes, a mattress, the dresser that was never going to fit in a sedan. You load it at the old place, drive it to the new one, and you are not making four trips in a hatchback.
Contractor Tools and Job Site Materials
Tools, lumber, tile, fixtures, the compressor. A contractor running a remodel can keep one job's materials together instead of scattered across three trucks. Closed up, the tools are not sitting out in somebody's driveway all afternoon.
Market and Event Vendors
Farmers market, craft fair, trade show, festival booth. Inventory, tent, tables, racks, signage, and the cash box. Pack the booth once and pull it to every date on your schedule instead of rebuilding the load every weekend.
Seasonal Storage and Helping Family Move
Patio furniture, holiday bins, and the kayak going from the house to the storage unit. Moving a kid into a dorm. Clearing out a parent's house on the one weekend the whole family is in town to help. If your haul does not look like any of those, call and describe it. We would rather sort that out on the phone than at the lot.
Why Rent an Enclosed Cargo Trailer For Your Trip
Keeping your cargo dry and safe throughout the journey is one of the main reasons to get an enclosed trailer. Cardboard boxes, upholstered furniture, drywall, printed signage, and anything with a screen do not travel well in the open.
Neither does a load that every car behind you can inventory at a red light.
Walls and a roof handle both of those. What we will not do is tell you it is a vault.
The trailer keeps your load dry and protected, and you can freely decide what equipment stays on board overnight.
Cargo Trailer Rental Towed by a Nashville Van
You can rotate drivers through the night and most crews do. The only requirement is that everyone taking a turn is named on the rental contract before the van leaves the lot, each with a valid license and personal insurance of their own.
Send us the full list when you book. If you want to add a backup driver later, get in touch before pickup and we will update the paperwork with you — call or text 615-336-7995.
Cargo Trailer Rental Sizes We Keep in Nashville
We keep two enclosed trailers, a 5×10 and a 6×12. The 5×10 is the smaller of the two at $40 per day, with a loading ramp, a side door, strap-down tracks, a spare tire, a 2 inch ball and a 4-way power connection.
The 6×12 is the step up, a foot wider and two feet longer, and it is the largest trailer we keep. It goes out at $50 per day and runs dual axle, with a 2 5/16 inch ball and a 7-pin connection alongside the same ramp, side door, tracks and spare.
Both are fully insured and cleaned before every rental, and either one books as a cargo trailer rental for your dates.
If you are not sure which one you want, work from the footprint. The 5×10 covers the lighter end of the loads above, a market booth, a studio move, a single room of furniture.
The 6×12 gives you two more feet of floor length for long items and the width for a bigger haul, and nothing we keep goes past it. Tell us the biggest thing going in and roughly how much of it there is and we will confirm.

Cargo Trailer Rental FAQs
Do you charge mileage?
NO! We do not charge our customers for mileage, and there are no hidden fees stacked on top of your rate.
Drive across town or across the country, the number you booked is the number you pay, plus Tennessee sales and rental tax.
Is the cargo trailer insured?
Yes. All of our vans and trailers are fully insured, and every vehicle carries Roadside Coverage with AAA, so call us first if something goes wrong on the road.
The renter is still financially responsible for damage to the trailer and what is inside it, so load carefully and strap things down before you pull out of the lot.
How do I know my load will fit?
Work from the footprint: the 5×10 gives you ten feet of floor length, and the 6×12 gives you twelve feet plus an extra foot of width, so long items and bigger hauls go in the 6×12. Each van already holds about a 4x4x5-foot area of gear on its own, and the trailer is what you add on top of that.
If the load is awkward, call or text with the largest item going in and roughly how much of it there is and we will confirm which trailer to book.
What is the shortest cargo trailer rental?
3 days. There is a 3-day minimum on trailer rentals, and cancelling inside 48 hours is charged for two days.
If the job runs a month or longer, ask about Long Term Rental Discounts when you call.
Can I take it out of state?
Yes. Out-of-state travel is fine and there are no mileage fees, so distance does not change your rate.
There are no one-way rentals, so everything comes back to the Nashville lot at 915 6th Ave South, and Canada is the only international destination we allow.
Can I leave my own car at the lot while I am out?
Usually. We keep 1 to 2 spots open for renters at the lot on a first come, first served basis, so it is not something we can promise ahead of time.
Mention it when you book and we will tell you what the lot looks like for your dates.
How do I pay for cargo trailer rental?
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, and ATM/Debit. A $100 deposit and a credit card on file are required to book, and the card stays on file for the length of the rental.
The 5×10 is $40 per day and the 6×12 is $50 per day, and Tennessee sales and rental tax applies on top.
