Band Sleeper Van Rental in Nashville, TN

Music City Touring Vans rents a six-bunk band sleeper van out of our lot at 915 6th Ave South, and we put Nashville acts on the road. It is a Mercedes-Benz 3500XD Dual Axle Sprinter with six bunks, a tour-bus-style lounge and room behind the seats for the backline.

Our fleet runs a three-day minimum, and this six-bunk van is the exception at a one-week minimum, with no maximum, so you book it for as long as the routing runs.

Have Questions About Your Rental?

Van Inclusion

What You Get With a Band Sleeper Van Rental

The van goes out fully fitted and cleaned, so the only thing you are adding is your own gear.

Six bunks with memory foam mattresses, bedding, reading lights and a power outlet at every bunk

Front lounge with two TVs, a Bose soundbar and an Amazon Fire Stick

Kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, sink and garbage bin

AC and diesel heater, shore power, and a 10G water tank

Roughly a 4x4x5 gear area behind the seats, plus a tow hitch on every van

Full insurance and Roadside Coverage with AAA

Band Sleeper Van Rental for Overnight Drives Between Dates

This is what the van is bought for. Load-out finishes around midnight, one person takes the wheel, and the rest of the crew is flat on a mattress while the miles go by.

You arrive in the next city having slept, instead of paying for a block of rooms you would be in for five hours or putting somebody tired behind the wheel.

Six people sleep and the lounge holds whoever is awake. If you want the detail on light, noise and what to pack, that is on our bunk van rental page.

Our Rental Van

Gear and Backline Space in Our Band Sleeper Van Rental

Behind the seats you have roughly a 4x4x5 area, which handles a lean setup: guitars, a couple of amps, pedalboards and a merch tote. One row of seats can come out if you need more room, and one row is the maximum.

For a full backline, a drum riser and production, add a trailer. We rent enclosed 5×10 and 6×12 trailers that go on the same contract for an additional charge, both fully insured, and every van we run is hitch-equipped.

Send us the pack list when you book rather than finding out at load-in that it will not fit.

Rental Requirements

Band Sleeper Van Rental Driver Requirements

You can rotate drivers through the night and most crews do. The only requirement is that everyone taking a turn is named on the rental contract before the van leaves the lot, each with a valid license and personal insurance of their own.

Send us the full list when you book. If you want to add a backup driver later, get in touch before pickup and we will update the paperwork with you — call or text 615-336-7995.

Who it Fits

Who Books Our Nashville Band Sleeper Van Rental

Touring acts, crews, management and labels, which is where the build came from. But the same van does the same job for church and mission teams covering real distance, for families driving cross-country, and for corporate and event crews working consecutive cities.

Same van, same rate, same terms.

Rates and Fees

Band Sleeper Van Rental Rates and Terms

Rates for the rest of the fleet live on the fleet page. Pricing for this six-bunk sleeper van is not published, so email, text or call us for pricing and availability.

Whatever we quote plus Tennessee sales and rental tax is the total, with no hidden fees and no mileage line item at drop-off. Booking takes a $100 deposit and a credit card on file, and cancellations inside 48 hours are charged for two days.

Long Term Rental Discounts start at one month, with two- and three-month rates and sublease options past that, which is what most full-season routings end up on. On long tours the renter changes the oil every 10K miles and is financially responsible for any damage.

There are no one-way rentals, so build the drive home into the routing. Out-of-state travel is fine and Canada is the only international destination we permit.

There is no restroom and no shower in the van, and no smoking of any kind, which is 100% NO and carries a $500 cleaning fee. No pets either, because of allergies.

Rentals are first come, first served, so book the week the routing is confirmed. Our sleeper van sits under our recreational vehicle rental agency, and counted by bunks it is our six-bunk touring van rental.

Touring RV Rental Questions

Six, one per bunk, and the lounge is for whoever is awake rather than a seventh bed. A crew bigger than six pairs it with one of our passenger vans.

No, there is no cap, no overage and no line item at drop-off. Drive across town or across the country and the number you booked is the number you pay, plus Tennessee sales and rental tax.

Usually yes, since we keep one to two free spots at 915 6th Ave South for renters’ own vehicles, first come, first served. Ask when you book so we know to hold one if it is open.
