Sprinter Bunk Van Rental Specs You Should Know Before Booking

The van is a 3500XD with a dual rear axle, low mileage and a full maintenance record. The second axle is what carries the build weight and a loaded trailer tongue without the back end squatting, which is the practical difference between this and a single-axle conversion.

Because it is a Sprinter rather than a Class A motorhome, it parks in an ordinary space, pulls into an ordinary diesel pump and gets into loading areas a coach cannot reach. Anyone comfortable driving a large van can drive it on a regular license.

Power, Climate and Water on Our Sprinter Bunk Van Rental

The 3000W inverter runs the bunk outlets, the lounge, the kitchenette and the entertainment setup. Add the 30A shore connection and you can plug in at a campground or venue and sit overnight on shore power rather than drawing the batteries down.

Climate is handled at both ends of the year by the Nomadic AC unit and the diesel heater, which is what makes this van bookable in July and in January. The 10G tank covers the kitchenette, washing up and drinking water, and it fills and drains from outside so nobody climbs in to do it.

Rental Requirements

Adding a Trailer to Your Sprinter Bunk Van Rental

The van has a factory tow hitch, and we rent enclosed 5×10 and 6×12 trailers that go on the same contract for an additional charge. Both are fully insured.

Behind the seats there is roughly a 4x4x5 area for luggage and gear, and one row of seats can come out if you need more of it. One row is the maximum.

Send us your pack list when you book and we will tell you whether the van alone will do it.

Rates and Fees

Pricing on the bunk van is by call, text or email, so send us your dates and we will quote it. Published rates for the rest of the fleet sit on the fleet page.

Your quoted rate plus Tennessee sales and rental tax is the total, with no hidden fees underneath it and no mileage charge waiting at drop-off. Booking takes a $100 deposit and a credit card on file, and we take Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover and ATM or debit.

Our fleet runs a 3-day minimum, and the six-bunk Sprinter is the exception at a one-week minimum, with no maximum. Long Term Rental Discounts start at one month.

Drivers are named on the contract, each with a valid license and personal insurance, and if you would like a backup driver added, get in touch before pickup on 615-336-7995 and we will take care of it.

There are no one-way rentals, so the van returns to the Nashville lot. Rentals are first come, first served.

What Our Sprinter Bunk Van Rental Does Not Include

There is no restroom and no shower on board. It is a Sprinter, and a wet bath was never part of this build.

Yes on shore power. Off shore power you are on the inverter and battery bank, so use it sensibly and plug in when you can, and in cold weather the diesel heater is far more efficient for overnight running.

No. A regular valid driver’s license and personal insurance, and your name on the rental contract. Anyone in your group who is comfortable in a large van can be listed as a driver.
